2020 seems to be ending a little more hopefully than we might previously have dared to hope, with vaccines on the way among other things. The tone of discussions online, the spread of conspiracy theories even by the President of the United States, and the trend among many to increasingly disregard the truth are a terrible and worrying development. One of the forces trying to counteract this development and give us all tools to handle the situation is the Facebook group ”Källkritik, fake news och faktagranskning” (Source criticism, fake news and fact-checking), led by the tireless Mathias Cederholm, and Hagström Consulting’s Christmas gift of SEK 10,000 goes to supporting this good work.
